Mi 11 India launch confirmed by Xiaomi

The Mi 11 India launch has been teased once officially, as Xiaomi tweeted an iamge saying the series is “coming soon.” This confirmation comes two months after the company’s marketing lead first spoke about launching the Mi 11 series in India. To recall, Xiaomi has scheduled a global launch event on March 29th, where it is expected to unveil the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, and other products. Considering that, the Mi 11 India launch date will likely be in April. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed which phones in series will be launching in the country, though we can expect at least the Lite and the standard models to arrive here. The Mi 11 was originally launched in China last December with the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The Mi 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and offers a 108MP camera. If the company prices the phone aggressively in India, then OnePlus is going to have some tough competition.

The Mi 11 specifications include the Snapdragon 888 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. The phone features a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 4,600mAh battery that supports 55W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. It gets an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, Harman Kardon speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and runs Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 UI.
